I owned my first camera at 10 years of age when my parents bought me a Kodak point and shoot film camera and have loved photography ever since. I have attended a number of workshops covering astro, flash photography, portraiture and some general workshops.  I have attended the Bright Festival of Photography and general workshops held by some of my favorite photographers.

I am running beginners meetups and classes through the Geelong Photography Group and am loving the interaction with many enthusiastic emerging photographers.

When asked what my favorite genre is, the answer is always, "The one with my camera in hand".  I am in my element taking photos regardless of the genre and every photography outing is a learning experience.

I have entered photographic competitions and achieved up to Silver awards in the Australian Photographer of the Year.
